APY
Definition
Annual Percentage Yield, the yearly return including compounding.
APY reflects the real rate of return or cost over a year, accounting for how often interest compounds. Because of compounding, APY is always equal to or higher than the stated rate. It lets savers compare accounts on an equal footing.
