Blockchain
Definition
A distributed ledger that records transactions across many computers, making them tamper-resistant.
A blockchain is a chain of data blocks, each cryptographically linked to the previous one and stored across a decentralized network of nodes. Once data is recorded, it is extremely difficult to alter without changing all subsequent blocks, giving it immutability. It is the foundational technology behind most cryptocurrencies.
